This Little Light of Mine

his Little Light of Mine

We stopped at a rest area in Northern Florida and found this pathway that overlooked over 345 acres of solar panels.

The sign said that it takes over 350,000 of these solar panels to power just 15,000 homes. That’s about 23 panels per home.

It’s pretty remarkable that man has figured out how to use the sun to give power and light.

The irony is that the SON has been giving LIGHT to the world before solar panels were even thought of.

John 8:12 says, “ I am the light of the world: he that followers me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. “

Jesus spoke of this light as a source of hope to those surrounded by darkness - also known as sin.

How amazing to think that ONE person can provide light for everyone…and He never runs out or needs recharging.

And then, the light HE gives is so powerful that once one chooses to embrace His light, it is so strong that Matthew 5:14-16 says it can be light to the world-and shine so brightly that it cannot be hidden.

What light are you giving off? One that only works part of the time? One that is made and powered by man?

Or do you know about the Light that penetrates darkness forever so you can be in the light also shine bright for all the world to see?
