From the Hem to the Hand

This morning as I enjoy my coffee and read His word, Mark 6:54-56 stood out. We live in a time where our faith is tested and attacked. This results in our lack of recognition of Jesus and His mighty power in our lives.

Today may our eyes be in Jesus. May we have a renewed recognition of Him. May we approach him with such faith that we believe that just a mere touch of His garment will transform us. May our actions be indicative of our belief that the same God who moved then, moves now.

Jesus didn’t stop with healing then - he continued to heal through his death, burial and resurrection. And because of that, what hope we have in Him! A hope that heals beyond our comprehension.

Because of His love and sacrifice we can boldly approach his throne and not just touch the hem but hold the hand of the almighty.

All praise and glory and honor to our savior, Jesus! What a privilege to be his child.
